When you sign in via Google OAuth, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture from your Google account.

b) Voice & Emotional Data

During voice interactions, we process your voice audio to analyze emotional expressions (e.g., tone, pitch, sentiment). This analysis is performed in real-time by Hume AI.

Voice recordings: Voice data is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers unless required for debugging or quality assurance.

c) Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage metrics including session duration, feature usage, API call counts, and error logs to improve service performance.

d) Technical Data

IP address, browser type, device information, and access timestamps are collected for security and rate limiting purposes.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion.

Voice Data: Processed in real-time and not permanently stored, except for temporary caching (deleted within 24 hours).

Usage Logs: Aggregated and anonymized logs may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• End-to-end encryption for voice data transmission
• Secure OAuth 2.0 authentication via Google
• Rate limiting to prevent abuse

However, no system is 100% secure. Use the service at your own risk.

HumeChat is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.
